Chicago the windy city

[This article has many photos]

A view of Chicago from Navy Pier

This June I had the fabulous opportunity of visiting the windy city - Chicago.

My Lufthansa flight was via Chicago & I decided to give a halt there to visit my cousin Sudarshan Rao & family. Man, it indeed turned out to be a great experience. Never had I seen such a concentration of tall buildings (yet to visit The City).

I had the opportunity to fly over Lake Michigan & also to go on a motor boat on it. Even from flight, most of the times I couldn’t the shores of the lake. Water, water & water all the time. It’s a fresh water lake & its 494 Km in length & 190 KM in width! If only we had so much of fresh water in India :-)

Prateeksha final!

[This article has many photos]

Sometimes we just need to move on in life even though there’s quite a big price to pay for it. I recently changed my house in Bangalore & moved to a spacious apartment near to my office. The worst part of it was that now I have rare chance (may be no chance) of meeting Prateeksha. Here are the last few photos that I took of her.

I had taken more photos of Prateeksha, but unfortunately when I was at Chicago recently I was trying to do some experiment with my camera & accidentally formatted my memory card due to which I lost lot of precious photos including many great photos of Prateeksha :-(
